Who can benefit from parent, co-parent, and family coaching?
All kinds of parents with all kinds of kids! Biological and Adoptive parents – Single and Coupled parents – Step-parents – Temporary or Permanent Guardians – Grandparents caring for or raising their grandchildren. Parenting and caring for children is complex and important work, and sometimes we need some support, training, advice, and guidance. We welcome all who are taking care of kids to join us for our family, parent, and co-parent coaching. Join us as we strive to be the best parents we can be!
Is co-parent coaching different than parent and family coaching?
The coaching program for co-parents is based on the same high-quality coaching practices we use in all of our work. However, there are some specific skills, attitudes, and structures that we teach when working with co-parenting partners that are essential to healthy co-parenting and leading their families through the divorce transition. We share with parents the risks to children after divorce and coach strategies and parenting practices that can reduce these risks. We assist co-parents through the family transition and give them the tools, coaching, and education essential to child-centered, loving, capable co-parenting.
